About Us
Prior to the deregulation of the transportation industry,
a group of major Health and Personal Care logistics professionals identified a method
to reduce costs by consolidating their shipments. In 1977, CALTOP Cooperative was
founded as a non-profit shippers’ organization providing pool distribution and
consolidation for its members. Since those early days CALTOP has evolved to become
a full service, asset based logistics organization specializing in consolidation
programs, appointment deliveries, regional truckload, warehousing, expedited
shipments and logistics services within eleven Western states, Alaska, Hawaii
and the Northeastern U.S.
